West Valley Treasure Seekers: Coin Hunt & Lunch
Join the West Valley Treasure Seekers for an exciting day of treasure hunting, camaraderie, and fun! Whether you’re a seasoned metal detectorist or just curious about the hobby, this event is perfect for all skill levels.
Date: Saturday, March 8, 2025
Location: Janis Beck Park, Youngtown, AZ (113th & Connecticut)
Schedule:
- Registration: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
- Hunt: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Lunch & Prizes: 11:30 AM
Event Highlights:
- First Prize: Garrett ACE 400 Metal Detector (retail value $350)
- Garrett Pro Pointer AT (retail value $130)
- Additional prizes.
- A show & tell session will showcase your findings.

Sorry, to control the number of participants, you must register and pay in advance. - What is included in the event cost?
The registration fee covers your participation in the coin hunt, lunch (hot dogs, water, and table service), and access to the prize giveaways. - What should I bring?
Please bring your metal detector and any other treasure-hunting gear you might need. We also encourage participants to bring a dish to share for lunch.
** Do not use digging tools. The treasures will be on the surface, and digging is not allowed in the park.
